Eria Jarensis: Uses, Side Effects, Interactions, Dosage and Supplements

Eria Jarensis (N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine)

Eria Jarensis Extract is a stimulant that has gained recent popularity in the supplement industry. Eria Jarensis or N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine, is a Neuromodulator on the Central Nervous System (CNS) and provides several mental effects including powerful focus, energy and even an increase in mood.

Uses of Eria Jarensis

Eria Jarensis is a plant that contains high concentrations of very powerful stimulating alkaloids. The extract is the prime source of N-Phenyl Dimethylamine, which has been shown to increase the concentration of noradrenaline in the body. This extract has become increasingly popular over the past few years as ingredients that provide similar cognitive effects have been taken off the market, including ephedrine and DMAA. Eria Jarensis Extract has begun to find its way into more and more pre-workouts and fat burners on the market.

Eria Jarensis Extract provides a variety of mood boosting and cognitive enhancing effects for the consumer. This is directly caused by its ability to increase noradrenaline and even dopamine concentrations in the body. When these hormones are increased in the body, the user will have a sense of alertness, focus and concentrated attention. When this ingredient is taken in high enough doses, the user will achieve a sense of euphoria that is quite pleasing.

Many supplement companies have made this ingredient a part of both pre-workout and fat burner profiles. It will provide benefits to training sessions due to the increase in energy and focus it will provide the lifter with. I like seeing this ingredient as a part of fat burning supplements due to its ability to improve your mood and increase your energy, especially as you get deeper into your diet.

Ingestion of this compound increases Phenethylamine, which has shown to have an increasing impact on the amount of dopamine and noradrenaline in the body. This substance has little to no research performed in the sports performance field. Given that it is relatively new, and that many companies have just begun taking interest, we can expect to see studies in the future assessing its safety and its ability to improve sports performance.

Interactions with Eria Jarensis

Eria Jarensis has been known to be used in pre-workouts and pair well with ingredients such as Caffeine Anhydrous, DMHA, Synephrine, Hordenine and Higenamine. It has also been pair with other nootropic ingredients like Alpha-GPC and Huperzine A.

Side Effects of Eria Jarensis

Since there has not been much research conducted around the consumption of this compound, many of the side effects are either anecdotal, or warnings by association (compared with a similar compound).

It has been anecdotally reported that there could be a slight crash with this ingredient, however this seems to vary from person to person and is largely situation and dose dependent. There have been extreme cases where compounds similar to this have led to increased blood pressure and rapid heartbeat. However, Eria Jarensis Extract is broken down quickly by the body causing these side effects to be difficult to measure because they only exist for such a short time period. Studies should be conducted in the future to further assess the safety of this ingredient.

Recommended Eria Jarensis Dosage

There is no recommended dose for Eria Jarensis Extract. The first company to experiment and lead the pack with Eria Jarensis Extract usage was Giant Sports. They recommended that dosages should not exceed 250mg per day. That is typically the standard we see in the industry, even today. Many products on the market fall into the 125-250mg range.
